H1N1...what??

Seriously,

Every year at this time when the seasons change everyone gets a cold. There is sneezing, wheezing, coughing and little red noses. And every year there is a huge media hype about swine flu and some pending epidemic.
Why are the pharmaceutical Industry and the media such great bed pals? Here are some of my thoughts and questions to ponder on:
Who spends the most money on advertising and still has the largest marketing budget in today's economy? And who stands to loose the most money when opposing these giant spenders?

Is a vaccine created before or after a pending epidemic is advertised? From my observations it seems that a vaccine is created and then the market for it gets created via the media and medical Industry and then the fear tactics start, to ensure that everyone rushes to get the vaccine to avoid the pandemic, and that is a smoke screen for the pharmaceutical Industry to make more money.
I, frankly am so tired of all the idiots that buy into all of this and that cannot think for themselves. When in doubt research, ask questions and get educated/informed. With so many avenues to be informed out there, it just shows your ignorance if you trust your personal wellbeing to money giants that really DO NOT give a hoot about how many fatalities/ill effects there are, as long as they make their money.

Vaccines have been such a controversial issue for so many years and today there are many
medical professionals that have said that the risk for the H1N1 vaccine is too high and they will not get the vaccine themselves or recommend it to any of their family.

It is healthy to get a cold at least a few times a year to shake up the Immune system. I am not saying all colds are harmless.....that really depends on the health of the individual inflicted, or rather, the health of their immune system, amongst other things. But to target small children who's immune systems are not even properly formed yet or old people who already have compromised immune systems is indicative of the greed that is fueling our health system currently. These bedfellows feed on the fear that they create to line their pockets.

When we allow our fears to take over we tend to believe anything no matter how preposterous it would seem to us normally. What a great way to control the masses. It has been a success for many centuries. Religion uses it, world powers use it, even kids on the play ground use it, and why should pharmaceutical giants not use it.
The question is, are you going to allow fear to erode everything....erode your health and the health of all those you love. When is this fear mongering going to reach a point where you say STOP, enough, I AM in control???

More bits and pieces...

AS you read this try to remember that it is my opinion and you should take it with a grain of salt, use your own filtering system. Take what you want from it and discard the rest.....digest it as you will!

I wanna talk about creation.....our birth right!!!

As I mentioned I am of the mind that we are all creators. I also feel that to create something comes from being inspired.....
Lets break that down. In spired..... In spirit, meaning the spirit is in you/you are in spirit, both are one.

Lets all create from the spirit within us.

Now, this may be the tricky part as many have not yet connected with the spirit within them selves. They may never take the time to slow down long enough to go within. One of the most widely used techniques is through the breath. Focusing on our breath and our breathing takes us out of our minds and brings us back into our bodies. Breathing is supposed to be natural and we all do it everyday anyway. The key is to do it properly...and on to the next bit...

To create, in my mind, starts with finding the unique spirit within you and allowing it to flow.
When you discover your spirit, it is a direct line to the Universe/God/Source/Light, whatever feels right for you.

It is our job to get in touch with our essence and to move beyond all the trained responses and lies we have come to make our own. We are all amazing creators as children and as we grow and listen to others we move further away from the spirit and truth within ourselves. We are taught what to think, how to feel, or rather how not to feel.

I, for one am going back to basics. I am going to find the spirit within myself and listen to its truth and pretend like I did as a child and create my world anew.

Bits and pieces flying through my mind

I went to a Soul Breathing workshop and the speaker was Robert Winn. During his workshop he reminded me of many things and planted a few new seeds and watered a few others. This piece is just one of those seeds.

He mentioned this: Religion is believing in someone else's spiritual experience.

I loved it and it was probably the best way I have ever heard it described. I always used to think that organised religion was just a fear based system to control the masses and by no means a unique experience.
Spirituality on the other hand is a unique experience (in my opinion), it is as unique as each and every one of us is. What we choose to believe in is not right or wrong, it just is uniquely ours.

I would like to say we must not judge anothers belief system but when it comes to organised religion, I cannot help but have some strong opinions! (or is that just a sugar coated word for judging it??)

Its crazy that the past is filled with religious wars and there are many injustices in the name of religion and somehow that makes it OK in the eyes of many. What the hell are they doing??
Is their religious faith so shaky or is it fear that what they believe in has little base and thus they must protest so much? OR have they taken a story and weaved it to their own liking in such a manner that the original intent got lost?

Whatever it is, the time of organised religion is over. It is time for us all to embrace our power from within and be the creators we are meant to be and take responsibility for ourselves and our own experiences.
Using someone else's spiritual experience negates your uniqueness. In my opinion it does not add to you it takes away from you.

This is not an attack on any ones belief system it is just the bits and pieces flying through my mind.

Judgement...

...when we judge others, what are we truly seeing?

Are we seeing them or are we projecting/protecting ourselves and lashing energy out at what
we think they think of us??

And then, is it that we are merely projecting unto them how we view ourselves and then judging them for it?

These are things a mind like mine ponders over.....
